What I’m Reading*
This month has been busy! I finished re-reading Essentialism and am already planning to write a blog post about “Personal Retreat Days for Essentialists.” Other books on my nightstand this month:
Be The Bridge by Latasha Morrison – Morrison, a leading advocate for racial reconciliation, challenges Black and white Christians to step out of their homogenous comfort zones in order to pursue mutual understanding and change. This book educated inspired, and humbled me on so many levels.
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng – I’m about halfway through this novel, and it’s a page-turner! Looking forward to watching the Hulu miniseries starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington once I’m done!
The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday – This book on practical stoicism was recommended by my husband, who’s a huge Ryan Holiday fan. I just started it but I can already tell I’ll be bringing this with me on my next Personal Retreat Day (mine is scheduled for Sunday March 7th – when is yours?)
